Set off before 10am from the Braes of Foss carpark. Was suffering a bit from drinking white wine last night at the hotel in Kinloch Rannoch. Took an extra penalty of a bottle of her beer.
Decided to let many a hiker overtake me on the steep path. Found myself sprawled at the side of the path many a time, slowly consuming my drinks etc. to lighten the load. She's a steep hill, I'd forogotten that. I'd forgotten about the rocks etc. at the top. Eventually got to the top after about 3 hours. A group of people who'd overtaken me were amazed I made it. Didn't tempt fate by drinking the beer. If I had I'd have probably broken my ankle on the way back down.
Windy on top, could see everything in all directions. Quite a day. Eventually limped back to the car. Quite a hike. No idea what I'm going to do tomorrow!
