It's been all over the media in the last week regarding the Grizzly Bear that killed the male hiker (the female hiker survived).
This is the first time apparently in 25 years that a Grizzly has killed a human in Yellowstone. This is great news for me. I means that statistically speaking I'll (probably) be bulletproof against a Grizzy attack whilst I'm over there. Even better news they won't kill the Grizzly apparently.
The location was apparently on a hiking trail near the Canyon Village, guess where someone associated with this blog is staying on an upcoming visit in Sept? Do you reckon I should leave a window open in my room in lodge to get a Grizzly encounter or interview? I may have to e-mail the park in advance or ask the park rangers when I get there where the Grizzly shall be during my visit. This is a photo opportunity to add to my "Greatest Hits" photos. I wonder if the bear shall be doing a "Meet and greet" event for the tourists. Or is that a "Meet, Greet and Eat" event?
Chortle. Chortle. Can't wait!
